Building a Community Safety Net: Connecting People, Processes, and Tools to Coordinate Resources That Matter

University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research staff, Randi Harms, Research Programs Deputy Director, and Loretta Severin, Research Project Manager, will co-host Building a Community Safety Net: Connecting People, Processes, and Tools to Coordinate Resources That Matter, as part of CHAMP Software’s Expert Webinar series.

Communities are filled with valuable resources—but too often, those resources are difficult to navigate, disconnected from one another, or inaccessible to the families who need them most. This session will explore how communities can strengthen coordination and create a more responsive safety net for families.

Participants will learn how to identify gaps in community resource networks, evaluate barriers to coordination, strengthen cross-sector collaboration, and apply a practical people/process/tools framework to improve outcomes for families.
