Managing Your Password


Setting Your Password

After accepting an email invitation to join IRIS, users will be directed to set their password.

  1. Enter your new password and then enter it again under password confirmation. Note: Passwords must meet the following requirements:
    • Minimum of 8 characters
    • At least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol
    • Not match any of your last 10 passwords A form titled Set your password with fields for Password and Password confirmation. A requirements list is shown below the password field, stating minimum of 8 characters, at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol, and must not match any of the last 10 passwords.
  2. Click Set my password.

Resetting Your Password

To reset your IRIS password:

  1. Navigate to the IRIS login page
  2. Click the Forgot your password? link under the Log in button. A purple Log in button with a red arrow pointing to a text link below that says Forgot your password?
  3. Enter your email.

Changing Your Password

To change your IRIS password:

  1. Select My Profile from the Navigation Menu. A vertical navigation menu with options My Profile, My Organization, and My Community. The My Profile option is highlighted in purple.
  2. Under Change password, enter your current password.
  3. Enter your new password and then enter it again under Password confirmation. Note: Passwords must meet the following requirements:
    • Minimum of 8 characters
    • At least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol
    • Not match any of your last 10 passwords
  4. Click the Update Team Member button.

A form titled Change password with three fields Current password, Password, and Password confirmation. Below is a purple button labeled Update Team Member and a gray Back link.
